Join my guided tours of Santarcangelo and explore the medieval village, renowned for its ‘caves,’ charming taverns, artisan workshops, and the breathtaking views over the surrounding valleys.

Santarcangelo di Romagna is one of the most charming villages in the province of Rimini, a place where history, culture, and tradition intertwine in a unique atmosphere. The roots of this enchanting town date back to Roman times when it was known as Castrum Sancti Arcangeli. Today, Santarcangelo is famous for its picturesque historic center, characterized by quaint alleys, beautifully preserved medieval buildings, cozy taverns, and ancient shops that keep the authentic Romagnolo spirit alive.
Our journey begins at Piazza Ganganelli, dominated by the 18th-century Honorary Arch dedicated to Pope Clement XIV, and the evocative Monument to the Fallen, created by the artist Bernardino Boifava. From here, I will lead you on a walk through the most captivating corners of the old village, where we will discover together the most iconic places in Santarcangelo, such as the majestic Campanone Tower, the scenic panoramic terrace with breathtaking views, the historic Malatesta Fortress, and the Collegiate Church of San Michele Arcangelo, with its rich spiritual and artistic heritage.
During the tour, we will also visit the Marchi artisan shop, where you can admire the ancient art of rust printing on fabric, a tradition passed down through generations. We won’t miss the opportunity to explore the mysterious underground “grottoes,” which hide secrets and legends from the past, along with many other places rich in history and charm.
Explore Santarcangelo di Romagna with a local tour guide and experience an authentic journey, immersing yourself in the history and traditions of this splendid Romagnolo village. Every corner, every street, every building has a story to tell, and I will be delighted to reveal it to you during our journey together.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kathy Dell from U.S.A.
Luana was a fabulous knowledgeable guide. Her depth and breadth of knowledge on our tour was most impressive. My husband and I learned so much about the historical, political, religious and economic dimensions of the city. Luana is engaging and fluent in English. In addition to her tour, the recommendations she made for lunch and sites to visit post tour were great.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Serrie Meakins from U.K.
Luana is a very serious guide with an excellent depth of knowledge. She adapted her tour to our requirements and was sure to include my daughter in her explanations. I would recommend her highly.
